All Zignature recipes are based on a meat-first philosophy because dogs are carnivores and require high-quality animal protein to thrive. The first listed ingredient in any pet food is vitally important because there’s more of that ingredient than any other. Not only is meat the first ingredient in all our recipes, but we also include meat or fish meal as the second ingredient. FEEDING TRIALS

Zignature Food for Dogs is formulated to meet and exceed the nutritional levels established by AAFCO (The Association of American Feed Control Officials). To conduct the feeding trials, we partnered with BSM Partners, which has identified a much stronger AAFCO study protocol that truly measures the nutritional adequacy of dogs compared to standard AAFCO studies.
